About the Artist
My pieces are inspired by a day trip taken in 1998 to a beautiful place in the Central Coast of California called Montana De Oro - "Valley of the Bears".

Rocks are most unique on this particular beach and I went home to work in the studio and started to carve the styles of the rocks found on the beach that day. My art is unique and different with the hand carved rocks that adorn the top of each urn for the knob. I also sprinkle glass in the bottom of the vessel for a sparkling effect. The body of each piece is hand crafted on the potters wheel and then the lid and base are created to compliment the piece with the carved rock on top. The piece is placed in a smoker with sawdust and a few secret ingredients to get the natural earth tone colors flashed onto the sides of my art. I also use different glaze recipes in my art with all the colors of the rainbow. Custom orders are available.

I am so sorry for the delay in writing to you but time has just gone so fast these last few weeks!
